The restaurants may not be open but Frank and the team have opened up the kitchens during lock down!

Every Thursday, Friday and Saturday during this crisis MoVida will be delivering a box packed full of ready to eat provisions, inspired by the sort of comfort-cooking the abuelas (grandmothers) of Spain would put together for when the family returns home, hearty, nourishing, delicious.

The menu is designed to cover breakfast, lunch and dinner for two, although in true ‘Abuela’ fashion it is a very generous ‘two’ – there’s enough food there to cover any additional nietos (grandchildren) in the household, or make for some pretty impressive leftovers the day after.

We will be prepping 200 packs in total which are available for delivery either Thursday 07/05, Friday 08/05, or Saturday 09/05. First in, first served.

The packs are put together the day of delivery, then delivered between 12pm and 5pm, so if you order this pack for Saturday delivery, you’ll have full provisions from the Sunday sorted.

The packs are available for $150.00 delivered, or $210.00 with a bottle of white and a bottle of red tucked in the box too.
With Mother’s Day this Sunday we have added a dessert to the Cart at an extra $15 Tarta del Queso: Cheese Cake, Rhubarb and Ines Rosales Olive Oil Pastries, a delicious end to your meal!

WINE DELIVERY
With the restaurants sadly closed for the duration of this crisis (don’t worry, they’ll be back though!) We find ourselves with a plethora of wine waiting to hit restaurant tables that are currently gathering dust…

In response we’re offering a great deal on some of the classic bottles that are mainstays of our restaurants – the sort of delicious Tempranillo we’d normally have on by the glass for $15.00 or by the bottle for $70.00 or $80.00 in the restaurant, we’re now offering as part of a pack of six bottles available delivered to your door for $160.00. The bottles are selected in much the same way we look at the by the glass offering of the wine lists – balancing the light, delicacy of Mencia next to the broad and powerful Tempranillo. A super fresh, aperitif ready Albarino tucked in next to the textured, Chardonnay-like weight of Maranones’ Picarana Albillo.

Best of all – we’re offering them, delivered to your door, at an amazing price, with a can of MoVida Sardines thrown in the box so if you close your eyes and turn off the news for a second you may just think you’re back at the bar, on a typical Friday evening splashing back Albarino with a salty Galician Sardine, looking forward to the weekend ahead…
